علی بن ابی طالب

ابو الحسن علی بن ابی طالب ہاشمی قُرشی (15 ستمبر 601ء – 29 جنوری 661ء)^[4][5] پیغمبر اسلام محمد کے چچا زاد اور داماد تھے۔ عثمان بن عفان کے بعد چوتھے خلیفہ راشد کے طور پر سنہ 656ء سے 661ء تک حکمرانی کی، لیکن انہیں شیعہ مسلمانوں کے ہاں خلیفہ بلا فصل، پہلا امام اور وصی رسول اللہ سمجھا جاتا ہے۔

Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Abi Talib Hashmi Qurashi (September 15, 601 - January 29, 661) ^{[4] [5] was the} cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad . He ruled from 656 to 661 as the fourth Rashid Caliph after ' Uthman ibn Affan , but he is considered by Shia Muslims to be the first caliph without a successor, the first imam and the guardian of the Messenger of God.

ابو طالب^[6] اور فاطمہ بنت اسد^[7] کے ہاں پیدا ہوئے۔ روایات کے مطابق علی، مقدس ترین اسلامی شہر مکہ میں کعبہ کے اندر جائے حرمت میں پیدا ہوئے تھے۔^[7][8][9] علی بچوں میں پہلے اسلام قبول کرنے والے تھے،^[10][11] اور کچھ مصنفین کے مطابق پہلے مسلم تھے۔^[12] ابتدائی دور میں علی نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم کی حفاظت کی^[13] اور ابتدائی مسلم برادری کی جانب سے لڑی گئی تقریباً تمام جنگوں میں حصہ لیا۔ مدینہ ہجرت کرنے کے بعد انہوں نے پیغمبر اسلام کی بیٹی فاطمہ زہرا سے شادی کی۔^[7] خلیفہ عثمان بن عفان کے قتل کے بعد سنہ 656ء میں صحابہ نے انہیں خلیفہ منتخب کیا تھا۔^[14][15] علی نے اپنے دور خلافت میں خانہ جنگیاں دیکھیں اور سنہ 661ء میں جب وہ جامع مسجد کوفہ میں نماز پڑھ رہے تھے عبد الرحمن بن ملجم نامی ایک خارجی نے ان پر حملہ کر دیا اور وہ دو دنوں بعد شہید ہو گئے۔^[16][17][18]

Born to Abu Talib ^[6] and Fatima bint Asad ^[7] . According to tradition, Ali was born inside the Kaaba in the holiest Islamic city of Mecca . ^{[7] [8] [9]} Ali was the first child to convert to Islam, ^[10] [11] and was the first Muslim, according to some authors. ^{[12] In the} early days, Ali protected Muhammad (peace be upon him) ^[13] and took part in almost all the wars fought by the early Muslim community. After migrating to Madinah, he married Fatima Zahra , the daughter of the Prophet of Islam . ^[7] Caliph Uthman bin AffanHe was elected caliph by the Companions in 656 AD after his assassination. ^[14] [15] Ali witnessed civil wars during his caliphate, and in 661, while he was praying in the Great Mosque of Kufa , he was attacked by a foreigner named Abdul Rahman bin Muljam and was martyred two days later. ۔ ^{[16] [17] [18]}
